Sycamore is a very light colored wood that is similar to maple, but with a unique looking patterning in the cross grain structure.
This wood is of moderate to light density resembling mahogany.
It turns, and sands well. Woods like this are great choices for accent work such as pyrography or dying as the simple patterning of the wood does not become too busy with added decoration.
All blanks are at least 3" square x 12".
